Range of Corporate Talks

Titles Sue Fuller-Good can speak on:

Work-life balance:
This talk is designed to inspire people to think about balance and make creating it fun.  Sue works on the premise, which she discovered when she did her MSC, that physical and mental balance are entwined! This talk is fun and interactive and sends people home with insight and practical easy to use exercises which can enhance their physical balance while at the same time making them aware of imbalance in their lives and how to counter it. Sue teaches listeners how to use affirmations in a way that works and to ‘embody’ them so they move from an intellectual string of words into the body.

Stress Management

Staff who feel great have the potential to perform really well. Stress is endemic in the world today. Many people speak of managing stress, yet people remain in a state of high stress and spend a lot of time and money reducing the symptoms of stress instead of handling the causes of their stress.
Body Brilliance offers a unique philosophy on stress….. on what it is and some well tried effective tools for reducing it. Stress exists inside our thoughts and until we can be the observer of our thoughts and find ways to separate from our thoughts we are unable to free ourselves from stress. Simple breathing exercises, body awareness development, relaxation techniques and visualisation are just some of the tools a workshop with Body Brilliance will give you or your staff. This skill can be taught in a workshop format or experientially through weekend getaways. Body brilliance will format the structure according to your specific needs.

Work Station Tools

As a physiotherapist who believes passionately in encouraging people to create better health and well being for themselves, I have devised some ways and means of raising people’s awareness of their bodies and of ideal posture. I have also found ways to use some little inexpensive but amazingly effective strengthening tools which can help them to strengthen their core muscles and facilitate balance in the muscle system. I call the tools ‘alignment poles’ and ‘balance beams’. I have made charts depicting easy to do exercises using these tools which can be stuck up at the work station serving as a reminder to stop every hour and move, thus enhancing:
• Feeding of the spinal joints,
• Loosening of tight muscles,
• Circulation to all parts of the body including the brain and therefore raising potential for productivity and clear thinking.
• Strength and balance of the body thereby raising potential for better well being and therefore health.
Being sedentary all day is very stressful to the body and it leaves the desk bound person susceptible to disconnection from the body, a most unsatisfactory condition where they become a mind dragging a body around whose well being they are unable to monitor or manage. Often the body ‘finds its voice’ by manifesting serious pain patterns or illnesses and the person lands up being off work or unable to perform properly because they are feeling sincerely off colour.

Work-life Balance

Work-life balance
People all over the world are struggling to find balance in their lives…. Doing enough work to get ahead, but still having enough time and energy for their families and their personal lives to thrive. Usually work wins and even if people make adjustments that shift this for a time, they struggle to keep the balance on a sustained basis. Finding balance is a dynamic process and it involves conscious living. People have to become aware of their programming and understand why they are tempted to put their own needs last instead of making them a priority.

Body Language

Remember to listen to your first language you ever “spoke”.  Body Language
A powerful means of enhancing communication is through using non-verbal communication skills. Many people are aware of both reading body language and mirroring in order to encourage their fellow communicator to relax more or become more defensive. I think we can use the concept of body language to understand ourselves better at the most easy to read and fundamental level:
